Tomorrow I Persist

Tomorrow is the big day - MSE 101 Finals, Physics 101 Finals & Orals. It's make or break time. One small mistake and it's hello F again. Grabe kung bumagsak na naman ako. Daig ko pa yung ibang... haaay nako.. It is frustrating but I must persist. It's the only way to exist.

Incredible, out of the 4 oral examination that I took this semester (3 Dacanay Theo121 & 1 Manny Dy Philo101), 4 (as in all!) of them ended up in this scenario: I always get the thesis statement which I am least prepared at. Incredible.

I am (blindly) going for an A in Fr. Dacanay's (the best canon lawyer in the country according to a friend) Theo121 class. I hope my efforts won't go to smoke.

I do not condone slackers.

I really hate that 11:00P.M. dorm curfew. It's not our fault why our dorm was infiltrated (nilooban) by some unknown person and robbed us. It's definitely not my fault why I got held-up by two guys who stole my cellphone. It's nobody's fault why these two incidents happened within 23 hours of each other.

Series of Unfortunate Events: Physics 101 taught by Dr. Jerrold Garcia, family suffred food poisoning, going through two robberies, the unreasonable curfew, parents on the brink of losing their jobs, QPI plummeting to an all time low, brother gets incomplete grades because he got dengue during the final exam week... no more please...

May Day Eve, Declamation Pieces, and Other Stuff

First and foremost, I am glad that this blog is able to help a lot of people via the declamation pieces that I have posted. I am planning to add more pieces in the near future. But as people have noticed, my last post is two months old and my layout is outdated. I can always blame academics and extra-curricular activities for the stagnation and neglect but I won't. I'm just lazy. Anyhow, I will do my best (try) to add more content.

Secondly, I don't understand why people are still requesting pieces amidst those that are already available. Can't you find the link in my navbar? Or can't you find something that suits your fancy? Please do tell me.

Thirdly, for those requesting a summary of Nick Joaquin's May Day Eve, why are you looking for one? Don't you have a copy of the short story? If you don't, there's one here. But if there are those who are definitely looking for a summary amidst the possession of the actual short story, please do tell me.

Fourthly, for other requests, please do request them clearly. I recommend that for special requests, comment in this post and not tag on the tagboard. But please take note that I do not guarantee anything. I'm doing all this just because I want to help and not to turn students into lazy slackers.
